Cumberland Food Hall activates the edge of the University of Tennessee campus, connecting student life with the broader Knoxville community. Located on the first floor of Hub Knoxville, the project transforms the ground level into a vibrant, tech-forward dining destination that accommodates approximately 350 guests in a flexible, inclusive environment developed in collaboration with Vol Dining, private developers, and student-housing partners.
Four distinct dining concepts share the open hall, supported by a fully equipped ghost kitchen and digital ordering system accessible via kiosk and mobile app. Secure pickup lockers streamline operations, reduce wait times, and enhance the overall dining experience, creating a seamless intersection of design, technology, and community.
