Cinq is a vibrant blend of old and new, bringing fresh residential energy to the Gateway District while celebrating the character of a historic warehouse. The design cleverly weaves the original structure into a modern setting using a mix of brick, concrete, fiber-cement siding, and sleek metal panels. Transforming the warehouse into a home for amenities and unique units took some creative problem-solving—but the result is a space that feels both timeless and current. With two buildings separated by a midblock alley and connected by a pedestrian bridge, Cinq embraces its quirks, using active ground-floor spaces and smart design to create a lively, connected community that’s full of personality.
