I received my Architecture degree and license from the Philippines. After working there for a few years, I decided to look for a better opportunity overseas. Saudi Arabia was my first stop. Working in a foreign country for the first time was exciting. I’ve learned how to interact with other nationalities. I always strived to give my best in the work place. Next stop was a 3-year stint in Singapore. But during the economic recession in Asia during the late 90’s, I decided to make a move for New York searching for better opportunities. I worked in a small firm, doing renovations of corporate offices in the New York Stock Exchange, World Trade Center and Rockefeller Buildings. In 2005, I decided to move to Atlanta and worked for a firm doing hospitality. After that, I moved to a Multi-family firm. Switching from steel to wood frame construction is not that difficult because of a good team I’ve worked with.
Now, working with Dwell design Studio is much better ‘cause the staff are the same team I’ve been working with for years!
