I've always been fascinated by the design process and the products that are borne out of a combination of art and engineering; cars, planes, motorcycles and of course, buildings (did I mention motorcycles?). I always dreamed of designing cars, but after taking a drafting class in high school, I decided that I definitely wanted to design buildings. Originally from New Jersey, I came south to attend Clemson University for architecture and also played linebacker for the football team (3 conference championships!). I graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture in 1990, and after working for 4 years at a small firm in Augusta, GA, I returned to Clemson to earn a Masters of Architecture degree in 1996.
Professionally, I have worked for some of the top firms in Atlanta on numerous project types, focusing primarily on multifamily projects since 2008. Personally, I'm married to my college sweetheart, Kimberly, and we have three kids; Chanelle, our smart, artistic flower-child, Alyssia the volleyball phenom and Tyson, the young tornado.
