Since I was a kid, I have always wanted to have the best of both worlds; this is what first drew me to field of Architecture. Architecture was the one profession that was both creative and technical, requiring both solid math skills as well as artistic ability. (I also believed that I would be both rich and famous but it seems I was mis-informed on both points) Anyway, by the time I had reached the wise old age of seven, I pretty much decided that I wanted to be an Architect. I have never looked back. Growing up in South Carolina, I began by taking basic drafting classes in high school. I later attended Clemson University where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture. After working 4 years in a professional office, I returned to school and earned a Bachelor of Architecture from Southern Polytechnic State University in Marietta, GA.
Throughout the last 13 years, I have worked on a variety of project types from office buildings to financial institutions. Since 2007, I have focused primarily on multifamily projects ranging from student housing to assisted living facilities in addition to market-rate and luxury apartments. I am a licensed Architect in the state of Georgia and a LEED certified professional. I have a beautiful (and patient) wife named Erica and two crazy boys, Nate and Grant.
